Merry Christmas
So even though the past 2 days have been filled with treats, but I’ve actually been pretty good.
Friday was a ton of baking, but I didn’t graze and pick too much along the way. Definitely not like the old days. And then we went to a Brazilian Steakhouse for dinner and it was amazing. Again, indulged the right amount and sampled delicious meats, but had great stuff at the salad bar....

A lack of liquor license took the scale way down and I wasn’t called out anymore.

30DS Overload?
So 12 hours later (after work again) I did another session of the Shred. This time I stepped it up to Level 2. It was very needed as I found the answer to this.
Clearly it was time for a change, and L2 is just more active and requires more just everything than L1 did, and I think it’ll take longer for it to get boring, which hopefully will mean I’ll be on to L3 by then.

I got home from work.
I realised over the course of today that I didn’t have that constant burning sensation in my legs.
This is of course due to the lack of facetime I’ve had with JM lately. Definitely not daily.
I’m already in PJs (aka braless) and I couldn’t be bothered to put one on, so the cardio portion was out. But who needs a bra to do abs?

Gym Suit Up!
Home from work kind of early, so I decided I am going to Zumba in the morning.
I have seriously missed it recently.
I have still been awful about getting up in the morning, so I’m dressed now (sleeping in my clothes), gym bag packed, with clothes to change into at work.
Good thing about a Soccer Stadium in the off season? Does it matter if I work 11-7 instead of 9-5? Not really! Friday...

My stomach has been all over the place today. Earlier today, I was so cold and hungry, I was literally shaking that I had to stop working and go get lunch.
But now, a couple hours after eating, my stomach is so off I really feel like I could throw up.

I'm late to the party...
But jumping on the bandwagon for this 30 Day Shred….
And I might die before I finish this. I might have wimpered through part of this work out… Not a good sign for Day 2, but I still went out walking around a new part of neighborhood for 2 hours, even though my thighs were periodically burning…

It’s hard.
Not impossible by any means. but it’s hard.
Mostly in the the arm strength stuff, surprise surprise. That’s what motivated me to get this though. I do decent on cardio (except not in the past 2 weeks……………. at all……) but regardless of all the chatter on here about strength training and how anyone can do it, until someone tells...

I did 2 sets of planks (60 secs + 30 secs), bicep curls, another arm thing from a dvd I don’t know what they’re called, 10x weighted lunges each leg, and 10x weighted squats each leg.
In the middle of my cozied up night with Moscato and He’s Just Not That Into You.
Unheard of, but thanks for the idea friends…
Now I’m back under the blanket with my wine. Thinking...

I’m currently hovering around 175. Yesterday I saw a crazy low of 174.0 (I’ve actually seen some version of that a couple times this week) then I knowingly stuffed my face yesterday. I was prepping my last plate of Thanksgiving left overs and had one too many side spoonfuls. Very a la old me… Then I threw everything away (besides my sandwich…)

I did enjoy running in the cooler evenings. I should do it again. Minimal evenings free makes it challenging.
So do all the excuses I come up with.
