Ramblings of a girl who wanted to be less than 260, then made it happen

Found this on the App I’ve been using on my Droid for tracking. I was originally very excited to get a smart phone for the WW app, but it only exists on iPhones, so this is what I’ve been using, it’s pretty good.
I started using this to track my weigh ins more consistently. I’ve mentioned before I would get stuck on the daily weigh ins and concentrate on the fractions up or down and fail to see that the fractions down were adding up to anything. And I didn’t want to post it every day here, that just gets annoying (to myself). And then this turned it all into a nifty chart.
Clearly it’s not all down.  I think that’s such an important thing to recognize, just because you jump up a little (or a few pounds, plus) doesn’t mean it’s over. It’s time to re-evaluate and switch things up, or just remember what’s worked for you in the past, or that dinner may still be in your body, that water weight happens, that there are a variety of reasons for this and don’t let it get you too far down…

Finally did my October measurements and um, it’s pretty crazy to use this as a resource beyond the scale. I didn’t do these for September, and yeah clothes fit differently than they did in August, but there are some serious inch(es) differences in the past 2 months.
Then I decided to plug all the measurements I have into a little chart. I only started taking measurements in May, despite starting this journey in October 09, so it’s a delayed start.
BUT: I’ve lost 8 inches off my waist in 5 months? 6 inches off my hips? And 32 lbs?
I keep getting my head stuck on a few pounds. That I’ve been at 183 for about 2 weeks now (SNEAK PEAK: I may have seen a significantly different number this morning! eep, wait and see…) I have to keep seeing the big picture.
My favorite thing about this chart? Proof that I officially have a waist now! =) Ohhh goodness…
And 5 inches off my chest? I officially need a new bra…
